New "Tekken 7" rumors will have Jun Kazama and Eliza as playable characters and a possible western launch of the game next year for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles.
Bandai Namco Marketing Head David Fraile announced that release date for "Tekken 7" on the fourth generation consoles will likley be on 2016 in the United States during the Madrid Games Week event, VG 24/7 reported.
"Tekken 7's" launch date for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles has been he subject many speculations as many gaming fans expected that Bandai Namco will announce the game's launch in Tokyo Game Show last month, but it did not happen.
Bandai Namco has been quiet for sometime and has not given out any information about "Tekken 7" in many weeks until today. "Tekken" creator Katsuhiro Harada and the rest of Tekken team have been busy testing the game in several arcades within the United States via "Dave & Buster's" and "Round One Venue".
The arcade test are many used to gather more information from its gameplay systems to fan comments and suggestion in order to create and plan out new features for "Tekken 7" in the consoles. There are also rumors of "Tekken 7" arriving in the PC platform after the console versions launch.
In other news, two new characters could be added in "Tekken 7" roster as Jin's mother, Jun Kazama and the sultry vampire Eliza are the likely candidates for the game, CrossMaps reported.
Harada first teased Eliza's possible addition to "Tekken 7" when he tweeted an answer to a fan asking if she could join the roster.
As for Jun Kazama, Harada already answered the question about Jun's fate in "Tekken" game series as he tweeted that she is not dead in within the story and points out that Jun is just "missing in action".
"Tekken 7's" playable rosted so far includes Jin, Hehaichi, Kazuya, Asuska, Lili, Hwoarang, Steve Fox, Bryan Fury, Yoshimitsu, King, Feng Wei, Dragonuv, Marshall Law, Paul Phoenix, Devil Jin, Claudio, Katalina, Lucky Chloe, Jack -7, Gigas, Josie Rizal, Shaheen and Kazumi Mishima.
