New updates for "Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps" will feature a new gameplay trailer and possibility of having "Resident Evil 7" video game soon.
Capcom revealed the new gameplay trailer for "Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps," as gamers and viewers alike will have a chance to see more gun shooting and zombie killing action in the latest installment of the "Resident Evil" game series, Gamerant reported.
"Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps" will feature two mercenary teams fighting each other in a classic death match scenario as well as facing-off hordes of zombies within an arena. Each team will be equipped with many long range weapons from hand guns to heavy machine guns and perform any close range combat. Each player is equipped with a Brainer Combat axes that are used to kill enemies up close whether its a zombie or rival mercenary. The Terrain Spikes are used are used to traversing tough ground and explore other areas quicker. A new feature called "Analog Cover" allows gamers to take cover on areas and objects when they see a blue highlights in the particular area.
Each team is comprise three players as the fight it out in the area until last man standing wins the match. Players can also use zombies as a distraction or shield against the enemy team to make a more efficient kill streak.
Capcom stated that "Resident Evil: Umbrella" will likely launch next year for PlayStation 4 and PC platform and it will not feature any single player missions.
In other news, Capcom game producer Masachika Kawata stated that "Resident Evil 7" may be in the works very soon and implores the gaming fans to "stay tuned", Venture Capital Post reported.
So far, there are no specific information whether "Resident Evil 7" will have a reveal this year or are they planning different concepts for the game. However, Kawata noted that he wants to "bring the horror" back to the game series as the many of its sequels and spin-offs such as "Resident Evil 5", "Resident Evil 6", "Resident Evil Revelations" etc. have strayed away from its roots hinting that this could be another change in the franchise's direction.
"Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps" will be release in the early months of 2016 for the PS4 and PC platform.
