"House of Cards" season 4 is expected to premiere in February 2016 and fans of Francis (Kevin Spacey) and Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) are eager to know what will happen to the power couple.

As Enstarz pointed out, the original UK series only lasted for three seasons and ended with Frank being killed off. Because of this, some are starting to wonder if this will be the last season for the Netflix adaptation.

Although the show has deviated from the original, fans cannot help but wonder if this will be the end for Frank in the coming episodes.  The publication further pointed out that he will be more vulnerable now that Claire has left his side. It also did not help that Claire knew all of her husband's deepest and darkest secrets and could eventually use it against him.

It has long been rumored that season 4 will be released to coincide with the US presidential elections. It was said that the producers believed that this would be a perfect way to tip the ratings to their favor.

In other news, iDigital Times speculated that Frank will become more powerful than ever in the next season. The outlet pointed out that he needed to fix his relationship with Claire, regain power and rise to the top once again, with the help from Doug (Michael Kelly).

It was said that the writers were prepping him to become the leader that he intended to be before shooting him back down. They held that Frank needed to appear victorious once last time.
