Jaimie Alexander plays a mysterious Jane Doe in the new NBC series "Blindspot."

Aside from playing Lady Sif in "Thor" and Agents of "S.H.I.E.L.D.," Jaimie Alexander is also known for playing mysterious Jane Doe in the NBC drama series "Blindspot."

Recently, Alexander told Parade that she has always been a tomboy having grown up with four brothers. She added that she considers herself "the same Jaimie" she has always been and she has not changed much from the days when she grew up with her brothers.

As a fan of equal opportunity, Alexander was curious when she heard other schools in Texas had female wrestlers on their team. With her desire to learn self-defense and discipline, she approached her school about it and that was what got her involved in high-school wrestling.

As a result of getting involved in high-school wrestling, Alexander had a little bit of a cauliflower ear. She said her right ear is affected from it and it just flattened a little because she never had it drained.

Alexander's "Blindspot" character is covered in mysterious tattoos. In real life, Chris Hemsworth's "Thor: Ragnarok" co-star has nine tattoos, each of which has significance and meaning, she said.

Before "Blindspot" premiered on Sept. 21, Sullivan Stapleton talked about how his character Kurt Weller is connected to Alexander's character. He told The Hollywood Reporter the enjoyable part of the NBC series is that it is not immediately clear how the two characters are connected and why Kurt Weller's name was tattooed on the back of Alexander's character.

Along with Alexander and Stapleton, "Blindspot" also stars Michael Gaston, Marianne Jean-Baptiste, Ukweli Roach, Ashley Johnson, Audrey Esparza and Rob Brown, among others.
