According to the latest "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 spoilers, it is Dr. Miranda Bailey's (Chandra Wilson) goal to be a good Chief but it is not going to be easy for her.
"We're watching her struggle as she learns to take the reins," "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 executive producer Shonda Rhimes told Entertainment Weekly about Dr. Miranda Bailey.
According to Rhimes, being a Chief is a job that Dr. Miranda Bailey has always wanted and feels is very important. The "Grey's Anatomy" showrunner added, "We're watching to see what it means to be a leader."
"Grey's Anatomy" season 12 premiered on Sept. 24, Thursday, with an episode titled "Sledgehammer," in which the Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital doctors sprang into action to save two girls' lives.
Meanwhile, in a recent interview with People, Jerrika Hinton shared some "Grey's Anatomy" season 12 spoilers. She said she is just really excited about living more fully as a person within her character Dr. Stephanie Edwards, who once faced suspension after lying to cover for Dr. Miranda Bailey, her boss.
"Once you discover more about where a person came from and what demons they're carrying, obviously that informs so much about where they want to be and the circumstances around them," Hinton told the publication. "And it's gratifying to finally be able to delve into that."
Dr. Stephanie Edwards and Dr. Jackson Avery (Jesse Williams) will rekindle something in "Grey's Anatomy" season 12, which will also show how Dr. Meredith Grey (Ellen Pompeo) copes with life without the late Dr. Derek Shepherd (Patrick Dempsey).
