It is not looking good for "So You Think You Can Dance" season 13. Although FOX has yet to confirm if the show will be cancelled or renewed, multiple reports suggest that the network may pull the plug soon due to poor ratings.

Earlier this month, Nigel Lythgoe tweeted that they are still waiting to hear news from the FOX executives.

Many fans have started to show their support for the series, calling for the network to announce renewal. Some shared that they are looking forward to audition again.

"I really hope you get to continue. So much talent will be left unseen and unfound otherwise," Noora Syrjala wrote on Twitter.

The possibility of the show getting cancelled, however, seemed high based on season 12's ratings. According to TV Series Finale, the show only averaged only 3.24 million viewers each week, even with Paula Abdul joining the show.

Some netizens also commented that they lost interest in the show due to inexperienced judges. If the show will be renewed, they held that FOX should hire real experts in the field of dancing.

"There is so much patting on the back of each other (judges to choreographers, etc) and so much false humility sometimes, its really hard to watch," Chris Shulz wrote.

A few also expressed criticism towards season 12's format, in which there were two groups (dancers vs "street dancers) competing in "SYTYCD."

"I used to love SYTYCD.... but last season w/the 2 divided groups was ridiculous. They pitted trained dancers w/the street 'dancers?' and it was a disaster," R said.
