With just a few days before the Black Friday, the original Nexus 5 and the new Nexus 5X discounts emerged online.
The original Nexus 5 is still popular for its decent specs and friendly price in comparison with its successors. According to Tech Times, US retailer Expansys offers generous discounts on the two-year-old Nexus 5 smartphone. The red or white 32GB model Nexus 5 is now available on Expansys for $199.99, originally $349.99. The 16GB Nexus 5 model is priced at $179.99. The retailer also offers a Nexus 5 32GB with refurbished LG Tone+ BT Headphones for $219.99.
Nexus 5X was spotted on eBay for $10 less than its original price. The listing offers the 16GB variant of the smartphone, but consumers can get any of the black, white, or blue colors. While Google charges tax for their products, the shipping is free that is attractive to consumers.
Amazon India, on the other hand, offers the 16GB and 32GB models of the new LG Nexus 5X for 20 percent less. The 16GB model which was originally priced at Rs 31,900 can be bought at Rs 24,888. The 32GB version of the Nexus 5X is selling for Rs 31,990, which is a discount of Rs 4,000 on the original asking price.
The LG Nexus 5X boasts a 5.2-inch Full HD (1920x1080) display, Hexa-core Snapdragon 808 processor, 2GB RAM, 12.3MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, and 2,700 mAh battery. The handset runs with Android 6.0 Marshmallow and has a fingerprint scanner with Android Pay support.
Meanwhile, Google teased that it will offer Black Friday deals on different Nexus devices via the Android and Nexus Twitter handles. The company will probably announce its Black Friday deals on the day itself extending the sale until Cyber Monday.
