"The 100" season 3 is slated to air on Jan. 21, 2016 and fans of The CW series are eagerly awaiting when the trailer will finally be released.
As reported by Melty, showrunner Jason Rothenberg hinted that the trailer will be released soon. He shared that he just saw the first cut and it looked "amazing." It was speculated that the promo will drop before Christmas.
Rothenberg later tweeted that they are only doing a few more edits before finally sharing the trailer.
"Oh my God, guys. The Season 3 trailer is INSANE!!!" he posted.
The outlet further speculated that the time jump will focus on Clarke. In the last episode, Clarke left the Sky People after she just saved them from the Mountain Men. Given that there will be a time jump come season 3, it is highly possible that Clarke returned to her people or she may have actually joined the Grounders.
In other news, Aaron Ginsburg previously confirmed via VC Post that a major character will die in the coming episodes. Although the executive producer refused to reveal further details, he shared that s/he is definitely a fan favorite. Some started to speculate that it could be any among Clarke, Lexa, Bellamy and Octavia.
He also hinted that there may be more than just one death in the third season. This, however, is not going to happen in the early episodes. Latest rumors suggest that another epic battle with happen in the finale, similar to what happened in the second season.
