"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will feature more heroes who are also members of the Justice League, the film's costume designer has confirmed.
Speaking to Omelete, "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" costume designer Michael Wilkinson let it slip that The Flash will make an appearance in the film. He said, "I'm not really at the liberty to talk about The Flash right now, but it's something that you'll be seeing in the future in our films. You do get a glimpse of him, of course, in 'Batman v Superman.'"
As to who will play the role is yet to be determined but Wilkinson said that he is excited to make a costume for "Perks of Being a Wallflower" actor Erza Miller. He described Miller as "an extraordinary performer."
"He has a sort of interesting sense of humor and the youth that will be great for Barry Allen and I think he's going to make a great Flash," Wilkinson said of Miller. The costume designer has confirmed the brief appearance of Flash but he also said that he is looking forward to designing a costume for Miller which means that he has not made one yet.
The Flash makes an appearance in "Batman v Superman" scene where a surveillance system shows him as a blur while stopping a robbery, Heroic Hollywood has learned. Another rumored appearance is that of Aquaman (Jason Momoa) who will reportedly be seen as a captive in a containment chamber. The scene is likely connected to Lex Luthor's survey of metahumans.
"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016, "The Flash" on March 23, 2017, and "Aquaman" on July 27, 2018.
