It would not be a gleeful New York for "Glee" star Mar Salling after he was arrested on Tuesday at his California residence over possession of child pornography. Hundreds of lewd images featuring minors were found on his computer in his Sunland home.

Crime Watch Daily reports that the Los Angeles Police Department's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force Unit served the search warrant on the 33-year-old actor who played Noah "Puck" Puckerman on the six seasons of "Glee."

The police had to use a battering ram to break his house's door. Prior to the forced entry of authorities, the LAPD knocked on his door, called his name and announced their presence, but the actor did not respond. He refused to share his password on his computer as well as other gadgets than were seized from the actor.

Since he lives alone, that basically rules out other people placing the child porn images on his computer, notes TMZ.

He played a sort of bad boy character on the hit musical show, getting his girlfriend pregnant. It seems that women trouble has been hounding Salling, whether on TV or real life.

The tip that he has child porn came from an ex-girlfriend, reports Pagesix, while in 2010, a woman accused Salling of sexual battery. The actor had to pay the accuser $2.7 million to settle the case out of court.

Salling is detained at the LAPD Metropolitan Detention Center in downtown LA and has a bail set at $20,000.
