The iPad Air 3 launch is rumored to take place on March 15. New reports claim that Apple will introduce the product during a press event in March that is said to coincide with the launch of the iPhone 5SE devices and new Apple Watch updates.
Apple's iPad Air 3, the successor to the iPad Air 2, is rumored to be unveiled with the new 4-inch iPhone 5SE and the new Apple Watch in March. Apple has yet to confirm iPad Air 3's official launch date; however, newer reports from 9To5Mac claim that it will be on March 15. The iPhone, iPad and Apple watch will be the company's main focus according to the report.
iPad Air 3 will reportedly include some of the iPad Pro's features such as an upgraded rear camera with LED flash, Smart Connector for the accessories, improved stereo speakers, and other features exclusive for the iPad Air 3.
iPhone 5SE devices are rumored to be launched together with the iPad Air 3. It will be the company's first 4-inch iPhone since the iPhone 5S. The company has recently shifted their focus on their bigger-screened flagship iPhone devices like the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 and 5.5-inch iPhone 6 Plus.
The iPhone 5SE is rumored to share similar specs with the bigger iPhones, but in a lighter 4-inch iPhone package. Other similar features include an A9 processor and Live photos support, Mac Rumors reported. However, it will not include the pressure-sensitive 3D Touch displays from the current flagships.
iPhone 5se will come in space gray, silver, gold, and rose gold which are the same color options available to iPhone 6s and 6s Plus. Reportedly, it will sport a 8-megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front camera.
Apple is also rumored to release a new software update for the Apple Watch, the watchOS 2.2 on the same date.
