"I didn't care if I got the job," Tatum told the publication about his "Hail, Caesar!" audition. "To get to work with them is pretty insane."

Clooney's character Baird Whitlock is a Kirk Douglas-type movie star. Tatum's character Burt Gurney is a Gene Kelly-type actor and is one of the clients of Eddie Mannix (Josh Brolin), who makes a living out of keeping actors' scandals out of the press.

For "Hail, Caesar!," Tatum had a tap dancing training for an epic song and dance number. He had a dance number with first-time movie actor Jeremy Davis, who is impressed by his dancing skills.

"Channing's a great dance partner," Davis told New York Daily News. "He's really strong, really fun and totally go-with-the-flow. He's the best."

Meanwhile, Johansson will star in "Captain America: Civil War" and "Ghost in the Shell" after starring in "Hail, Caesar!" opposite Clooney and Tatum. She will also be featured as a voice actress in "The Jungle Book" and "Sing."
