If reports are anything to go by, the iPad Air 3 will come with Smart Connector on March 15, 2016.
However, the upcoming tablet will not sport 3D Touch, according to a report from 9to5mac. The Smart Connector port enables owners of iPad to connect iPad-optimized accessories. Furthermore, according to reports, the new iPad Air 3 will be faster than the iPad Air 2. It will come with 4GB of RAM.
The iPad Air 3 is expected to have a 4K display. This will give the upcoming tablet a higher resolution than the iPad Pro. The device has a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels. On the other hand, 4K has a standard resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels. At present, the iPad Air has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels.
Reports suggest that the new iPad Air will include a rear-facing LED flash for improved photos in poor-light conditions.
At present, the iPad Pro is the only iPad that completely supports the Apple Pencil, as it comes with a display that helps the new stylus to do its job. Rumors are doing the rounds that the same technology will be put into the forthcoming tablet.
According to several reports, the upcoming iPad Air 3 will be powered by an A9X chip.
It is said that the device will come with a price tag of $499; however, those who want to add the Apple Pencil and a physical keyboard to the device will have to spend an extra $169 and $99.
It is expected that the tech giant Apple will reveal the iPad Air 3 at its media event on March 15. The new tablet will be available for purchase by the end of March. In addition, the company will reveal the iPhone 5se in silver, gold and space gray and a Space Black Apple Watch.
The rumored iPhone 5se is expected to have a 2GB of RAM, 16GB of in-built storage and an Apple A9 processor, MacRumors reported.
Rumor has it that the upcoming smartphone will carry a price tag of $450. Furthermore, the device will adopt the 2.5D cover glass and will have an NFC chip.
