On Feb. 9, Tuesday, Lauren Bushnell, 25, took to Instagram to share a selfie, which appears to show that she is wearing an engagement ring. This further ignites the on-going rumors that the flight attendant from West Linn, Oregon, won "The Bachelor 2016" and is currently engaged to Ben Higgins, 26, a software salesman from Warsaw, Indiana.

"The Bachelor" Season 20 finale is airing on March 14 with JoJo Flectcher and Bushnell in the final two, according to Reality Steve. Higgins is reportedly engaged to Bushnell after choosing her over the real estate developer from Dallas, Texas.

However, granting that Bushnell really won "The Bachelors 2016," the fact that she is allowed to post a photo of herself with an engagement ring on Instagram. It would also be even more questionable if she was asked to do it to boost the ratings of the ABC reality dating game show.

Featuring Chris Soules with Whitney Bischoff as the winner, "The Bachelor" Season 19 had an average rating of 2.35 in the 18-49 demographic. Also, the average total of viewers is 8.2 million.

The current season has yet to beat those numbers but the ratings are not that low that they have to ask Bushnell, again granting that she won and is now Higgins' fiancé, to give some spoilers on Instagram. With an average number of total viewers of 7.4 million, the current season has an average rating of 2.19 in the 18-48 demographic, according to TV Series Finale.

This is not the first time Higgins joined the ABC reality dating game show. He was one of the bachelors on "The Bachelorette" Season 11 featuring Kaitlyn Bristowe and finished third.

In "The Bachelor" Season 20 episode 6 titled "Week 6: Bahamas," which aired on Feb. 8, Monday, Higgins send Jennifer Saviano home and had a one-on-one date with Caila Quinn for the second time. The group date card went to Bushnell, Fletcher, Becca Tilley, Amanda Stanton and Lauren Himle while Olivia Caridi and Emily Ferguson had a two-in-one date with Higgins.

Higgins cancelled the cocktail party in the recent episode and went straight to the Rose Ceremony. It was Himle who was eliminated.
