Speculations are rife that multiple sets of protagonists with individual missions, Sprint button may be coming in "Grand Theft Auto 6." "GTA 6" may also be located in Vice City.
Rumors abound that the next game in the series could borrow heavily from "GTA: Vice City" because it was a major hit at that time and brought a lot of flair to the game, which is much-needed now. The location of Vice City could revive the game, which is a major requirement at the moment.
The upcoming game is rumoured to include a few more improvements in the area of gaming experience. While aerial missions were mostly absent in the past games, the sixth instalment is expected to include more aerial missions. It is expected to feature more weapons, ammunitions and also include a lot of cheat codes in the game play.
Recent reports regarding this game suggest that the upcoming game will be featuring a much bigger map. If this supposition is true, then the map which will be featured in the sixth instalment of "GTA" will be the largest map in the entire history of the series.
It is also speculated that the upcoming game will be the first time in the series that a female protagonist has been included. Even though the "GTA Online" version currently allows users to play as a female character, players are asked to take the role of a male character to play in the story mode. Hollywood actress Eva Mendes is speculated to voice this new female character in the game.
However, it looks like fans will need to wait till 2019 for the game to be released. The team at Rockstar Studios is in the initial phases of the game's development. Another major reason behind the delay is the sudden exit of Leslie Benzies, who was the lead developer of the game series, according to Kotaku.
Additionally, Rock Star North, which is one of the branches of Rock Star Studios, are reported to be currently working on the "Red Dead Redemption 2" game. This automatically implies that the development of the game will take more time.
Meanwhile, there are also reports that Rockstar plans to release the new game only when the gaming consoles are equipped with the Virtual Reality technology, according to Value Walk. The rumour mill also states that a VR version of "GTA 5," which was released back in 2013, is also in the works currently. This will be developed under an individual developer.
