Revisions in the script for “The Expendables 4” delayed the shooting of the movie, to star Sylvester Stallone and 43-year-old actress Li Bingbing. The lead stars were approached and offered a role in the film three years ago, Li revealed.
After the delays because of the script changes, the movie will finally start filming in May, Li shared on Wednesday at the product presentation of an expensive watch she is endorsing. As the new brand ambassador for the luxury timepiece, Li received recently the watch as a birthday present, which she considered one of the most expensive gifts she has received.
Li was named on Wednesday in Beijing as the global brand ambassador of Carl F. Bucherer watch by Sascha Moeri, chief executive of the company. The actress of “Transformer” and “Resident Evil” got the first model of the Pathos Swan watch which has 922 diamonds and sapphires on its case, strap and dial, according to The Standard.
While in Australia, Li said she got sick out of worrying she might not be able to do "The Expendables 4" because of a barrier, reported China Entertainment News. However, there are now speculations that Stallone may back out of the movie.
Crossmap cited Terry Crews, a veteran of the movie franchise who played the role of Hale Ceasar. She opined that Stallone’s winning the Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor and the Academy Award nomination for his role as Apollo Creed may lead to the actor concentrating on a Creed sequel than the 4th installment of “The Expendables.”
“I was just thinking he got options now. As well as he should. He should think about his next move is going to be, what he’s going to do,” Crews explained.
