When The Pokémon Company announced two new Pokemon games, titled "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon," limited details have been divulged about these upcoming games since then; however, new reports suggests that the long wait is over as more details will be revealed about the "Pokémon Sun" and "Pokémon Moon" on April.
It is said that since the series has been popular for 20 years now, there will be a chance that over 1000 Pokemon will be introduced by the time "Pokemon" turns 30. With "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon's" latest addition to the franchise, it will surely sell like a hotcake once it will be released, as new characters and new features will be added to give more gamers an interesting gameplay.
Aside from introducing new Pokemon characters, "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" will likely add Mega Evolution to the series, just like what was added to "Pokemon X and Y."
Since Charmander, Bulbasaur, Squirtle and MewTwo got mega evolutions in "Pokemon Y and Z," Chikorita, Totodile and Cyndaquil from Johto region, Solrock, Lunatone, Lugia and Ho-Oh will likely get mega evolutions in "Polemon Sun and Moon," as theorized by YouTuber MandJTV Pokevids.
Meanwhile, according to Serbii, a leak unveiled that "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will be featured in CoroCoro magazine, which is scheduled to be released on April 15. In addition to this, the magazine will also feature the next "Pokemon" movie titled "Pokémon Elections."
Although some of "Pokemon Sun and Moon's" details will be showed on the upcoming magazine, fans should still wait for Nintendo's official announcement to get more accurate information about the new "Pokemon" installments. Nintendo is said to reveal juicy details about "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokemon Moon" on the upcoming Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) event come June 2016. It is expected that aside from the game's release date, additional and interesting features will be revealed come E3 2016.
On other news, Nintendo is said to revive the interest of fans in 3DS since the upcoming "Pokemon Sun and Moon" will likely have a worldwide release to the console during Holiday season. However, many are wondering if 3DS will be able to sustain gamer's satisfaction in playing "Pokemon Sun" and "Pokem Moon," as 3DS' hardware is already old to give better visuals to the upcoming game.
Fans are expecting that the new game should be released along with the rumored hybrid-handheld home console Nintendo NX, as this would help the company to attract new audiences and to increase its sales revenue.
