New details for "Supergirl" TV series will feature the trailer for crossover episode with The Flash and a new character introduced to the show.
The official YouTube channel for Warner Bros. TV posted the official trailer for the Supergirl and The Flash crossover episode "Worlds FInest" as the plot details will Kara Danvers/Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) first encounter with a new superhero in National City, Barry Allen/The Flash (Grant Gustin), Screenrant reported.
As seen in the video, its starts with both Supergirl and The Flash having a friendly race as Cat Grant (Calista Flockhart) proclaims to be a new superhero in National City. Supergirl in her civilian identity introduced Barry Allen to the rest of her friends from CatCo James Olsen (Mecad Brooks) and Winslon Schott Jr. (Jeremy Jordan) as well as her organization the DEO.
The trailer will also feature the return of Leslie Williams/ Livewire (Britt Morgan) to the show along with a new ally Siobhan Smythe/Silver Banshee (Italia Ricci) as they look to take down Cat Grant and Supergirl in National City. Supergirl will need The Flash's help in defeating two super villains as Barry finds a way to comeback home in his dimension.
It is revealed in "The Flash" TV series that Supergirl takes place in another earth as glimpses of infinite earths are seen in season 2 keeping up with the show's theme. YouTube channel Emergency Awesome cited the device that is attached to Barry's costume similar to tachyon device that Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash (Matt Letscher) used in "The Flash" season 1.
The device could be the reason why The Flash was able to enter Supergirl's world and a way to open the breaches since they have closed every last one of them in Central City.
The "Supergirl" crossover episode could be a way for more DC TV series crossovers with the likes of "Arrow" and "Legends of Tomorrow".
In other news, a new character will be introduced in episode 19 titled "Myriad" as former WWE Diva's Champion Eve Torres will play the role of Maxima in the show, Comicbook reported.
The plot details for "Myriad" will feature Non (Chris Vance) and Indigo (Laura Vandervoort) will use a mind control device to control the citizens of National City into their own twisted army. Maxima in the comics is an alien from the planet Almerac and is part of royal family. She comes to earth in search of a worthy mate in the form of Superman. When the Man of Steel rejects her offer, she became furious and wants revenge on him.
"Supergirl" returns on March 14 on CBS.
