Apple's latest Operating System, iOS 9.3, is here, and it brings some great updates in addition to extra security for users.
Key features include Night Shift, Health, CarPlay, Notes, and Education. Night Shift uses the gadget's clock and geolocation to change the colors of the display gradually to the warmer end of the spectrum as bedtime approaches.
According to scientific description posted on Apple's official website, many studies have indicated that exposure to bright blue light in the evening can affect the circadian rhythms of the user, making it difficult to sleep. In the morning, the screen restores the default settings.
Through the latest iOS 9.3, it will now be easier for third-party apps to help attain users' goals with regard to fitness and physical training. The software has the Health app that keeps all the information in a more centralized way, and it can show moving, exercise, and standing data from the Apple Watch.
Storing information in Notes is as well made more secure with the inclusion of password protect key. As a result, the user can arrange notes according to date created, modified, or alphabetically. For users finding it hard to navigate through the new feature, Apple Insider shared a systematic guide on how to do so.
First, the user should tap the unsecured note and simply press the Share icon where the "Lock Note" option is concealed. After tapping, a panel pops up asking for an original password and to retype it for verification. The feature also has a hint that can be entered in the event the password if forgotten.
Users can also use the Touch ID to make the login faster. When done, the note appears with a padlock icon.
In addition, the Software is equipped with CarPlay that has useful settings like "New" and "For You" from Apple Music, which delivers artists, songs, and albums chosen based on preferences. A "Nearby" feature found in Maps allows the driver to locate the nearest gas, restaurants, parking, and other locations with a tap.
