Bournemouth's previous three-game winning run was snapped during their last game as they were crushed by top contenders Tottenham Hotspur, 3-0, at the White Hart Lane on March 20th, as per SkySports.

The Spurs' resident striker Harry Kane netted a brace at the first and 16th minutes to give the early 2-0 lead to the hosts which manager Eddie Howe's boys could not respond to.

Danish midfielder Christian Eriksen completed the three-goal haul of Tottenham at the 52nd minute of the second half as his team put a stop to Boscombe's three consecutive wins and four-game unbeaten streak.

The Cherries are currently in the 13th spot of the league table, a far 12 points away from the bottom three relegation zone. With seven matchdays left in their first English top flight campaign, it is highly probably that they will stay in the first division next season.

Meanwhile, high-profile squad Manchester City continues to struggle as the season winds down with a sorry 0-1 loss to neighborhood rivals Manchester United at their own home field of Etihad Stadium also March 20th, as reported by BBC Sport.

Young forward Marcus Rashford, who suddenly provided good plays for the Red Devils, scored the only goal of the match at the 16th minute to hand City its fourth loss in its last six outings.

The Citizens have also been winless in five of their last six assignments which left them out of title contention after being on the top spot of the league standings during the first few months of the current season.

Right now, the team is precariously holding on to the number four spot, which is the final qualifying berth for next season's Champions League competitions, with West Ham and the Red Devils only a point behind at the fifth and sixth spots.

The predicted result is a 3-1 win for Manchester City.
