Fans are given heads up about the relationship shifts in the upcoming season of "Orphan Black." The series, which will be aired this coming April 14 on BBC America, is rearranging some relationships this season. Producers revealed that some characters of "Orphan Black" season 4 are expected to be drawn closer, while some are about to be distant from each other.
Fans are worried that Felix and Sarah would end up drifting apart, as Master Herald reported. The pair has gone through a lot in the previous seasons, but still remained together. However, as Sarah, played by Tatiana Maslany, decides to find out more about her identity and Beth Child's past, Felix, played by Jordan Gavari, will start looking for "connection" and "intimacy" with someone else, since the former would have lesser time for him. This is expected to have a big impact on the relationship of the two.
"There's some friction, and Felix has to sort out what Sarah means to him and what S (Maria Doyle Kennedy) means to him now that there's this blood tie between them. There's jealousy at play. He gets a lot of intimacy from Sarah and a lot of connection... If he's not getting it from Sarah, maybe he's getting it from somewhere else," Gavaris said in an interview with Variety.
Another relationship that has to face struggles is the marriage of Donnie, played by Kristian Bruun, and Alison, played also by Maslany. After being involved in some crimes in the previous season, the couple will try to live a normal life. However, it will be proven not so easy, especially that Helena (Maslany) will become their housemate. This would draw the two clones closer to each other, but some fans are predicting that this could put Alison' and Donnie's marriage on the rocks.
The upcoming fourth season of "Orphan Black" will also deal with how Cosima (Maslany) is coping with the death of Delphine (Evelyne Brochu), and Art (Kevin Hanchard) being in the Clone Club.
New Leda and Castor clones are also expected to enter the series. Plus, Krystal (Maslany), Sarah's another clone sister, is confirmed to come back to "Orphan Black" season 4, as revealed by the executive producers.
