Age is just a number for the South Korean actor, So Ji Sub, who has just revealed that his greatest wish this year is to fall in love. The actor was interviewed for the February issue of the Korean @Star1 magazine, where he discussed his dating life.
During the interview, the 38-year-old discussed his recent drama "Oh My Venus," where he expressed his gratitude toward his co-star actress, Shin Min-a, for her devotion and love for acting. The talent actor admitted that Shin is a lovable artist, stating that she was discussing things with the rest of the staff and not just with him while working on the drama.
Apart from that, So was then asked about his wishes for this year, where he admitted that he hopes to meet a woman whom he can easily connect with.
"It's been so long time since I've been in a relationship. I want to be in love. If I meet the right person. I'd want to get married, too," So told @Star1 magazine, as cited by Soompi.
In earlier reports, the actor already revealed that his ideal type would be a woman who is considerate and understands the nature of his work, someone he could converse with and is compassionate. The actor also expressed his desire to get married before he gets 40 years old.
"When you begin seeing somebody, you have to see them for at least a year prior getting married. And since I do not have much time left, I think it'll be difficult," he added.
Nonetheless, the actor expressed his ideal situation of dating, stating that he will date openly when he is thinking of marrying his better half when the time comes. He went ahead to say that in the event that they will not end up getting married, publicly dating would seemingly be painful for the woman considering that a stigma will always follow her.
Meanwhile, So seemingly has a sudden image change in the horror-romantic big hit drama "Master's Sun," from a serious character to a romantic-comedy person with charm. Hence, he was then cast in the romantic comedy series, "Oh My Venus."
The said drama follows the story of a world-class health trainer that is the secret heir to a medical corporation named Kim Young-ho a.k.a John Kim and Kang Joo-Eun, a 33-year-old lawyer and former "ulzzang" who seeks help to regain her figure, The Korea Times has learned.
As the two work on a new diet regimen together, they end up mending each other's emotional scars and fall in love. The series runs from Nov. 16, 2015, to January 5.
