Bryn Mawr College has been slammed by protests because of the emails it sent to its students inviting them to join a weight loss program.
Among the recipients of the email is pre-law student Rudrani Sarma, who said had suffered from an eating disorder. In a Facebook post, Sarma wrote, "How dare you, Bryn Mawr? You're telling students that it's more important to lose weight than to be healthy."
The health center director Dr. Kay C Kerr has already sent students a written apology, according to Main Line Media News.
Recently, an actor surprised Hollywood when he appeared almost unrecognizable after losing weight.
Edward Norton and Michael Keaton's "Birdman" co-star Zach Galifianakis is still mum about his surprising weight loss.
In 2014, days after his World War II film "Fury" dominated the weekend box office, Brad Pitt visited "Between Two Ferns" to discuss "uncomfortable" topics with Galifianakis.
"How old were you when you lost your virginity, zero?" was the first question of the Emmy Award-winning Funny or Die web series host Galifianakis.
Failing to get an answer from Pitt, Galifianakis offered to share his own story of how he lost his virginity. On the other hand, the 50-year-old actor said he would really not like to hear Galifianakis' story.
Before he started the interview, Galifianakis reminded the viewers that he interviewed the United States president Barack Obama last time before whispering, "And now, I'm going to go back to interviewing dumb actors. It's all I'm saying! It's fine! It's fine! He's a big star."
