Actor Jin Goo may be the latest bromance of Song Joong-ki after the “Descendants of the Sun” actor posted on Monday their photo like they are about to kiss.
Of course, the two were just having fun, but at a recent fan meet, the actor who played Yoo Si Jin revealed his real best friend-cum-bromance partner is another actor, Lee Kwang Soo, who was Song’s co-actor in another Korean drama “Running Man,” aired over SBS.
Their close friendship started in 2010. At that time they were the youngest members of “Running Man.” Song disclosed that among his close friends, it is Lee who had made him cry.
Song recalled that when he entered the South Korean Army as part of the two-year compulsory service for all males, at that time his older brother had gotten married. Lee went to his family house in Daejeon and acted like he was the family’s second son, including posing with more than 1,000 fans.
After 100 days in the army, Song came home for a break and saw a video of Lee fulfilling his obligation with the fans which made the vacationing soldier teary eyed, reported Soompi.
Song left “Running Man” in 2011, but the following year the two BFFs starred in “The Innocent Man” of KBS 2TV. Lee also had a cameo appearance in “Descendants of the Sun.”
Drama Fever, another Korean entertainment website, confirmed that Song and Lee were bromance partners for a long time now. However, on screen, Song had Yoo Ah In as his bromance partner in “Sungkyungkwan Scandal.”
