The Black Mamba Kobe Bryant has already announced his retirement, and as a result, tributes for the 18-time NBA All Star player are flooding. It seems that 2K Sports is joining the tribute party by making Bryant the cover of its latest NBA game, namely the "NBA 2K17" Legend Edition.
In regards to the upcoming "2K NBA" game, Bryant released a statement which he said that it is an honor for him to partner with 2K on the "NBA 2K17" Legend Edition. Kobe added that despite the fact that he is exiting the court, fans can still be able to see him play as a Laker in the said video game.
According to reports, the latest addition to the 2K family, the "NBA 2K17" Legend Edition, is said to be available now via pre-order on various retail and online sellers, wherein the indicated price of the game at GameStop is said to be $79.99.
Furthermore, it was revealed that the special edition of "NBA 2K17" Legend Edition includes three physical items in the likes of a Black Mamba controller skin, a limited edition Kobe poster, plus two Panini Kobe trading cards, Mobi Picker reported.
In addition, when it comes to its digital content, it has been said that gamers will be able to acquire 30,000 Virtual Currency, and a MyTeam Bundle with three packs guaranteed to include a Kobe Hoodie, a Kobe Free Agent card and more.
2K Sports also noted that those who will pre-order the "NBA 2K17" Legend Edition are going to have their copy of the game plus an in-game bonuses during its official release date, which at the moment is said to be in September, yet it would be on December at Amazon and GameStop.
Aside from the "Legend Edition", 2K Sports will also release its standard version of "NBA 2K17" by September this year, wherein it can be acquired for $59.99.
"NBA 2K" Legend Edition and "NBA 2K17" can be played on Microsoft Windows PC, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3.
