Rumors have been very loud that the famous "Rap God" rapper Marshall Mathers, commonly known as Eminem, is working on a new album; however, the "8th Mile" actor and award winning rapper has not confirmed the said new album.
May be people should not blame the fans' eagerness to finally get a copy of a new album from Eminem, because it has been years since the rapper released an album. Also, the fact that the last album he released, titled "The Marshall Mathers LP 2," was a massive hit among the fans and the critiques, then it would not be a bad idea to do a follow-up in order to keep the fans' excitement rolling.
On the other hand, although Eminem has not released a new album yet, he was still very active in his career. In fact, the soundtrack of the movie "Southpaw" was one of his works. Eminem is also featured in Gwen Stefani's album, in which, the rapper performed on two of Stefani's tracks, titled "Kings Never Die" and "Phenomenal."
Eminem was also seen lately at the Lollapalooza event in Argentina, where he performed his hits such as "White America," "The Way You Lie," "Without Me" and more. This is why even if the popular rapper has not made any album yet, his career is still in the green light, being busy with other commitments.
Although no confirmation has been provided by the "Rap God" rapper, there is still a possibility that Eminem would eventually announce his rumored album. According to his avid fans, the rapper, songwriter, record producer, and actor may be indeed working on a new album in full secrecy in order to surprise its supporters.
There is also a chance that Eminem is just waiting to be inspired for him to be able to write great songs. His friend and fellow D12 member, Denaun Porter, said that Eminem should feel that there's something to talk about and to say. He added that he is proud of Eminem's accomplishments, Billboard reported.
