New "Street Fighter 5" details will feature solutions for "rage quitters" and a new DLC character joining the game's growing roster.
Capcom announced their plans for the April update in "Street Fighter 5" as they have revealed a next DLC character, a new stage, solutions on "rage quitters" and several match making improvements. The Japanese company explained that the on-going rage quitting from players will be addressed and enforce some fair and legal punishments for them teasing that "more details" are coming very soon.
Rage quitting in "Street Fighter 5" has been a habit of most players playing online matches ever since the game's release on February. Several gamers have complained about this issue which led Capcom to come out with solutions for them and urge players to report any rage quitting during matches. Capcom implemented a short term measures in preventing rage quitters, which involved monitoring and and encouraging everyone to report these incidents.
Capcom added that they will be making a sweep each week for rage quitters base on accounts in their system that have abnormally high disconnect rates and will reset their League Points within "Street Fighter 5", Gamespot reported.
In other news, a new gameplay trailer for "Street Fighter 5" features the return of Guile in the game's roster. Guile sports a new costume for the sequel as he wears a white uniform with sunglasses as suppose to his classic commando look. The Guile DLC also includes a new Air Base stage with a revamp theme music.
According to the Capcom-Unity blog, Guile still retains his classic signature moves such as the Sonic Boom and Somersault Kick along with new move sets. Guile can now do a crouch walk called "Faultless Move", which allows him to to keep his charge while moving forward, giving him even more options in his kit to keep his opponents in line. His V-Skill is called "Sonic Blade" that allows him spin out an energy ring, which act as stationary projectile and can "juice up" his Sonic Boom. This move helps Guile pressure up his opponents and have an counter against projectile attacks.
The V-trigger is called "Solid Puncher" that allows Guile power up and dish out several Sonic Booms. Each punch throws Sonic Booms at a different speed depending on the faster the player push buttons. This move can overwhelm opponents depending on the combination the players will use.
Guile's finishing move is called "Sonic Hurricane", which powers up and hits his opponents with a massive version of the Sonic Boom.The move receives a damage and range boost while his V-Trigger is active. Guile will also be available for gamers this month for free as Capcom has not yet fixed the game's online currency settings.
In addition, Capcom will be improving some game features on "Street Fighter 5's" match making system, which allows players to have easy access and connections to online matches in the Battle Lounge.
"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
