While the network is yet to release the official synopsis for "NCIS" Season 13 episode 22, spoilers and other details are already making the rounds. Recently, CBS issued a press release wherein the network confirmed the appearance of Obama.
In "Homefront," Obama will meet the Naval Criminal Investigative Services agent Leroy Jethro Gibbs (Mark Harmon) to discuss "Joining Forces" initiative. It is a nationwide initiative launched by Obama and Dr. Jill Biden in support of service members, veterans, and their families.
During her appearance in "NCIS" Season 13 episode 22, the First Lady will also meet the wife of a Marine along with Gibbs and other military spouses.
According to report, the scenes involving Obama were actually filmed inside the White House. "Filming inside the White House was a dream come true for the 'NCIS' cast and crew," Executive Producer Gary Glasberg said. "It was such a pleasure working with First Lady Michelle Obama, and it's our honour to support the 'Joining Forces' initiative and the military families that benefit from it."
In addition, Reiko Aylesworth will be guest starring as Anne Marshall in the upcoming segment. The "Damages" actress will play the role of a wife of a deployed Marine Master Sergeant, according to TV Line. Their 14-year-old son is involved in a home invasion.
According to TV Guide's description for episode 22, Gibbs is investigating the case. During the investigation, he figures that the boy might not be telling him the entire truth and hiding some details. And, Vance and Fornell head to London to solve the case of an escaped British spy.
