"Dancing With the Stars" season 22 contestant Nyle DiMarco has reportedly lost his massive following on the hit ABC reality TV show.
On Monday night, DiMarco and his professional dance partner Peta Murgatroyd performed one of the most iconic dances from Jim Carey's movie "The Mask."
Prior to doing their routine, the "America's Next Top Model" Cycle 22 winner said that he believes he is the frontrunner in the competition. When asked who he thinks is his biggest competition, DiMarco said that he feels he's competing with pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy.
Obviously, DiMarco couldn't compete against Chmerkovskiy because the latter is not a contestant on the show. Rather, he's a professional who has been part of the reality TV series the past couple of years.
What DiMarco and Chmerkovskiy have in common is their passion for showing off their abs with almost every single routine.
The supermodel's statements didn't sit well with "Dancing With the Stars" judge Len Goodman. Following their performance, Goodman had some harsh words to say about DiMarco's seemingly arrogant words.
"Don't start saying you're as good as Val because you're annoying people," he said.
Before receiving their scores, "Dancing With the Stars" co-host Erin Andrews asked DiMarco to comment regarding Goodman's advice.
"Well, I think it's fair criticism. So, I definitely understand and accept it," he said.
Unfortunately, DiMarco and Murgatroyd fell in the middle of the pack with 25 out of 30 as their score. The couple was at the top of the leader board the week before.
Meanwhile, "Dancing With the Stars" season 22 contestant Jodie Sweetin recently opened up about her injury on the show.
The "Fuller House" star was practicing her Pink-inspired routine to the song "Try" with her partner Keo Motsepe when she suddenly fell and injured her left foot and ankle.
While speaking with Us Weekly, the former child star revealed that she is happy she was able to pull through that ordeal.
"It wasn't too bad! Luckily my ankle is OK, but I bruised a bone on the outside of my foot, which is tender and sensitive, but the ankle at least is stable," she said.
