The director of the games "Pokemon Sun and Moon" Junichi Musuda once said that fans will eventually know what the Pokemons are saying through translating whatever these creatures speak off. He said though that this might be possible in the future titles of the franchise.
In Musuda's interview with Nintendo Life several years ago, the director said that putting a translating machine in "Pokemon X and Y" crossed his mind, after he was asked on what would be the things that he did consider adding but eventually did not make it to the game. He added that the translating machine should be able to provide an instant translation every time a Pokemon tries to say something. In this way, players will know what their Pokemon are saying.
The director added that the Pokemon translating machine did not make the cut because it was too hard to make it possible, knowing that there are more than 600 unique Pokemons that should have a translation, Design & Trend reported.
Musuda also hinted that although this did not happen in "Pokemon X and Y" (2013), he did admit that the future installments might have a strong chance to have the Pokemon translating machine.
During his 2013 interview, Musuda said that these future installments may appear in 2016 and beyond. With that said, this is somewhat a confirmation that "Pokemon Sun and Moon," which is set to be released this year, may contain the said Pokemon translation feature. Unfortunately, there are no available firm details that would support the availability of a Pokemon translation in the much anticipated "Pokemon Sun and Moon" video games.
On the other note, rumors has it that there would be 2 legendary Pokemons that would appear in the anticipated 2016 Pokemon video games, and that these two Pokemons are said to be Solgaleo and Lunaala. It is also said that the meaning of "Sol" is sun, and "Leo" can be translated to lion. While "Luna" means moon, and "Ala" refers to a wing.
Nevertheless, "Pokemon Sun and Moon" is anticipated to be released on December.
