A crucial match between two contending squads SS Lazio (13-13-9, 48 points) and Inter Milan (19-9-7, 64 points) is scheduled to be held at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome this Sunday, May 1st as the 2015-2016 Serie A season is slowly coming to its end.
Lazio is at the ninth place of the current league table, tied on points with eight-running team Chievo but had a lesser head-to-head goal difference. With three matchdays left, they are five points away from sixth-placed squad AC Milan who is holding the final Europa League qualifying spot.
A timely winning run could boost Le Aquile into the Europa League competitions for next season. However, they are reeling at the moment with a two-game losing skid as they had also been winless in four of their last six matches.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan is at the fourth spot of the league table and seven points behind third-placed AS Roma who is currently holding the third and final Champions League qualifying berth for next season.
With only three games left in their campaign this season, it would be a long shot for Roberto Mancini's side to snatch the spot away from Roma, although they could try aiming for it starting with this match against Lazio.
Inter cruised to a 3-1 win over Udinese Calcio last Saturday at the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza, as reported by BBC Sport.
After Udinese forward Cyril Thereau opened the scoring at the ninth minute, Inter unleashed three goals courtesy of a brace from striker Stevan Jovetic at the 36th and 75th minutes and an injury time goal from forward Eder.
The predicted result is a 3-1 victory for Inter Milan.
