"The Flash" season 2 will release an episode that will Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) with the three father figures in his life.
In an interview with Collider, executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said, "There is a great scene between Barry's three fathers, essentially. It's between Tom Cavanagh, John Wesley Shipp and Jesse L. Martin, where all three of them are debating what Barry should do. Not all of them have the take on it that you'd expect, and that's what makes for such an interesting scene."
Meanwhile, Kreisberg also revealed who he thinks will have the most interesting reaction to what Barry is supposed to do.
"Probably Joe's. Once Barry decides to do something, Joe doesn't think he can be dissuaded from doing something. That's the Barry that Joe has to come to know and love and respect. Given they're up against Joe who's always been so protective of Barry, surprisingly is the one who says, 'Maybe we should give this a shot,'" he said.
In other news, the upcoming episode of "The Flash" season 2 entitled "Rupture" will see the return of Zoom (Teddy Sears) to Earth-1. Here's a look at the official synopsis below:
"Zoom arrives back on Earth-1 intent on taking over Central City. Barry and Harry plan to stop Zoom but it's extremely dangerous. Unsure if he should take the risk, Barry reaches out to both fathers for advice. Meanwhile, Cisco is shocked when he senses the Earth-2 villain Rupture, who is his brother Dante's doppelganger and Iris decides to open up to Barry about her feelings for him."
The teaser for "The Flash" season two's upcoming episode opened with Barry saying how much he loves protecting his city and saving people.
It was also confirmed that Barry will help in creating the particle accelerator explosion in "Rupture."
"This could kill my son," Henry said.
"I have to do this," Barry replied.
By the looks of it, Barry will be in so much pain the minute he goes inside the particle accelerator explosion.
