New "Street Fighter 5" details will feature more offline gameplay content, a new wave of characters and an anti-disconnects system for "Rage Quitters".
Capcom teased new content for "Street Fighter 5" very soon as game producer Yoshinori Ono told Game Informer (via EventHubs) that they are looking into adding a "Versus CPU" game mode for the sequel, as well as more unannounced gameplay content for offline players that will be made throughout this year and beyond.
Ono added that he and Capcom were excited to see "Street Fighter 5" out in the market for the gaming fans and did their best to include more in-game content as possible, but in the end, the fans wanted more for the game acknowledging the fans disappointed with the launch of the sequel.
Capcom is working hard to address the gaming fans concern within "Street Fighter 5" and will have huge plans in place for the regular game updates that will contain new enhancements and content additions.
Aside from the new offline contents, Ono teased a next wave of characters could be added to "Street Fighter 5" after the first DLC characters. He explained that next wave of characters will depend on the game's success during its launch and the said number of fighters will rival or even surpass "Ultra Street Fighter 4's" roster.
"Street Fighter 5" has five DLC characters with Alex and Guile being added to the roster, while Juri, Urien, Ibuki and Balrog are yet to be revealed in the game.
In other news, Capcom revealed new details on the anti-disconnects System for "Street Fighter 5" as the new feature will address the growing "rage quitting" problem within the game's online matches.
According to the game's official blog, the anti-disconnects system will allow penalties for gamers who are rage quitting in Ranked and Casual matches five times. The punishment will be a two hour matchmaking penalty, but it will not be enough as players will not lose League Points, but Capcom assured that they will continue to improve "Street Fighter 5's" systems so gamers can expect a harsher punishment for them soon.
Capcom will have a new storymode expansion for "Street Fighter 5" on June so gamers will have to wait for further announcement from them soon.
"Street Fighter 5" is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and PC platforms.
