Motorola, which is now owned by Lenovo, will be holding an event in India in two weeks. They could be unveiling new smartphones which may include the Moto G 4th generation and the Moto G4 Plus.

Twitter user @rquand posted a photo of a list of smartphone parts that have been imported to the country. The import listing was for the Zauba database in India, according to Android Authority.

At first glance, the list can be quite confusing. It has smartphone parts imported as far back as March 29, 2016 and includes circuit boards, flash lens, LTE modems and NFC sensors.

Motorola seems to be calling the Moto G4 "Athene" as its codename during development. Most of the parts have the Athene prefix on them which suggests some of its specs and features.

There could be two variants of the Motorola Moto G 4th generation. One with 2GB RAM and 16GB storage while the other one will have 3GB RAM and 32 GB for the storage.

For the camera, the lower-end variant could feature 13MP for the rear and the higher-end will sport a 16MP rear-camera. Both cameras will have laser focus and auto focus, according to Phandroid.

Both variants of the Motorola Moto G4 will have a 5-megapixel front snapper. It is not known yet whether they will be capable of capturing 4K footage or at least 1080p videos.

Another detail dropped by the import lists is that the phones will be available in two colors: black and white. It is also being called as the "XT1643" and it would most likely be the product codename in stores.

Fans will have to wait for the official unveiling by Motorola on the event at May 17. The Moto G 4th edition and the Moto G4 Plus specs could finally be confirmed at last.
