Fans must brace themselves for an eventful finale packed with massive drama and interesting twists. According to the synopsis for "Grey's Anatomy" Season 12 episode 23 "Family Affair" on ABC's official website, it is an important day for Amelia and she seeks support from Meredith and Maggie.
Meanwhile, the show delves deeper into Jo and Alex's storyline. Last week, Jo declined Alex's proposal and left him broken hearted. This week, she drops a bombshell on Alex and uncovers the secrets she has been keeping from her boyfriend.
As for Arizona and Callie, they struggle with the consequences of their legal battle and the impact of the custody arrangement. Elsewhere, Ben will be forced to take things into his own hands when a friend needs him.

In an interview with TV Line, "Grey's Anatomy" actress Caterina Scorsone, who plays the role of Amelia Shepherd, she reveals what is actually happening. According to the actress, the events of the morning of the wedding day changes things for her. She hints at a series of unfortunate events.
"The morning of the wedding, everything kind of explodes. A whole, unfortunate series of events takes place that sends Amelia into a tailspin," Scorsone tells the publication.
In the meantime, April's water breaks and the only person by her side is Ben. "I'm gonna have a baby....On Meredith's rug!" April tells on the phone.
While Ben waits for the ambulance to arrive, April begs him to help her.
Camilla Luddington, who plays the role of Jo, teases some "major twists and turns" in the upcoming episode. Speaking to Variety, the actress said: "Everyone across the boards has something dramatic going on. There are moments where you get completely blindsided."
In addition, rumours swirling around suggest a major character's death in the finale. According to International Business Times, things don't look good for Richard Webber and this has fans worrying about his future on the show. In the previous episode, he looked disappointed thinking about his past relationships. And the way he grabbed his chest, it appears that there might be something wrong, speculates Reddit users.
