Sasha Banks has not wrestled a televised match since the post-WrestleMania 32 edition of Monday Night Raw. According to the latest rumors, Banks is suffering from a serious head injury and she has not been cleared to return.
The Boss was unsuccessful in winning the WWE Women's Championship at WrestleMania 32 in a Triple Threat Match against Charlotte and Becky Lynch. She then faced Summer Rae the next night and won via submission using her Banks Statement finisher.
However, Banks has not wrestled a match ever since and she last appeared in a backstage segment with Shane McMahon at "Payback" on May 1. Dave Meltzer mentioned on Twitter that the WWE is keeping Banks away from television due to storyline reasons.

According to Squared Circle Sirens, Banks suffered a head injury at a live event in Charlottesville, Virginia on May 15. She was in a six-woman tag team match with Paige and Becky Lynch going up against Eva Marie, Lana and Dana Brooke when the injury happened.
A referee inadvertently hit the 24-year-old wrestler with his knee causing him to miss time. She was pulled from future live events, as well as appearances.
The injury might be a severe concussion and the WWE is being precautious about her injury, Cageside Seats reported. The company is keeping her injury a "secret" and her status at the moment is uncertain. The WWE has a history of being careful with concussions ever since the Chris Benoit double-murder suicide happened in 2007.
The latest wrestler to get sidelined permanently due to a concussion is former WWE World Heavyweight champion Daniel Bryan. He was diagnosed with a small lesion on his brain that causes seizures and it was due to accumulated concussions throughout his career.
On the other hand, Banks' injury might have happened in January but there is no confirmation about it. Nonetheless, the current plan for the former NXT women's champion is to have a program with Charlotte and the WWE Women's title at SummerSlam.
Many fans believe that Banks will win the title from Charlotte and become the face of the women's division of the WWE. She has all the tools to become a top female superstar and her relation to Snoop Dogg can appeal to casual wrestling fans and the mainstream media.
