New details for the rumored "Crash Bandicoot" PS4 reboot will feature a possible appearance at E3 2016 and Sony talks about the fans expectations on the classic PlayStation title.
The "Crash Bandicoot" reboot has been the subject of many speculations and rumors from gaming fans across the internet as Sony has yet to explain the validity of the classic title's return to the PS4 game console and now looks like gaming fans will know a little bit of detail as Sony's head of global sales and marketing Jim Ryan told the Official PlayStation Magazine (via Gamerant) that the company is "aware" of the gaming fans love for the "Crash Bandicoot" franchise and their wish to have it revived for the next generation game console.
While Ryan is aware of gaming fans demand for a "Crash Bandicoot" PS4 reboot, sadly Sony has no update regarding at this satge of area, meaning they have no plans at the moment for the game. Previous reports revealed that the "Crash Bandicoot" game series is still the property of Activision as several speculations stated that Sony brought back the game due to it being featured in "Uncharted 4: A Thief's End" with Drake playing it during a scene in the game.
Voice actor Lex Lang teased that he has upcoming new projects which involves him voice three characters from three video game titles. One of the character's description is doctor which fans automatically assumed that he will be voicing Crash's nemesis Doctor Neo Cortex as Lang lend his voice on several titles such as "Crash Twinsanity", "Crash Tag Team Racing", "Crash of the Titans", and "Crash: Mind Over Mutant".
However, Lang quickly denied it and deleted the Facebook post after reading the comments, but said that he would love to see "Crash Bandcoot" again and went on to say that if "Ratchet and Clank" can be turned into a movie than he does not see why "Crash Bandicoot" would do the same thing, PlayStationLifeStyle reported.
Could this mean that fans will not be expecting a "Crash Bandicoot" PS4 reboot anytime soon, let alone a possible appearance at the 2016 Electronic Entertainment Expo next month.
"Crash Bandicoot" was original developed by Naught Dog and it was exclusive only for the PlayStation console. The original game debut in 1996 and was re-launched in 2007 as a downloadable game in the PSN.
2016 marks its 20th Anniversary as fans are still hoping for a new "Crash Bandicoot" game for the PS4 soon.
