Recent reports suggest that the arrival of MacBook Pro 2016 and Microsoft Surface Book 2 have been postponed.
Earlier reports suggested that the Surface Book 2 and MacBook Pro 2016 will launch in June 2016. However, according to KGI Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the upcoming MacBook Pro will now release in the last quarter of 2016.
It is said that the 2016 MacBook Pro will release with improvements such as lighter and slimmer design, Touch ID fingerprint sensor and keyboard with OLED panel.
Also, some reports suggest that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 will be available next year.
There are speculations that the tech giant Microsoft is trying to include Thunderbolt 3 and a 4K resolution display in Surface Book 2. But inclusion of the two features are causing conflicts to the current design of the Microsoft Surface Book 2.
Various reports indicate that the Microsoft Surface Book 2 will be powered by Kaby Lake chipsets. It is said that the Core i7 and Core i5 Kaby Lake chipsets are efficient and faster than the Skylake chipsets.
In addition, the new processor will help in improving the battery performance of the device. Rumor has it that the Surface Book 2 will arrive with USB Type-C port, Slash Gear reported.
According to many reports, the Kaby Lake chipsets are scheduled to get announced later this year. Therefore, the Surface Book 2 will probably arrive next year.
Microsoft will release the device with latest features of Windows 10.
Meanwhile, many reports indicate that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be released in October this year.
According to some reports, October 2016 may be too soon for a launch date because it will give the tech company just months to prepare for the big day. Other reports suggest that the new Surface Pro will release in December, or early 2017.
Rumors are doing the rounds that the Surface Pro 5 will be powered with the company's next Windows 10 upgrade, called the Redstone 2. It is believed that Microsoft will unveil Windows 10 Redstone 2 in spring next year, Digital Trends reported.
Some reports indicate that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will come with one of the newest Intel chipsets: Skylake, with Intel Core i7, Intel Core i5, or Intel Core m3.
