"'The Day The World Went Away' - Finch's number comes up when a fatal error blows his cover identity and sets off a deadly series of escalating encounters with Samaritan's operatives, on the 100th episode of PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, May 31 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network," reads the synopsis for the upcoming "Person of Interest" Season 5 episode.

The guest cast includes Geoff Pierson who plays the character of FBI SAIC Roberts, Christine Cartell who plays the role of Brenda, Reese Madigan who portrays the character of Detective #1, DeShawn Harold Mitchell who plays the character of Detective #2, Sunita Mani who plays the role of Sonam, Narrington Walters Jr. will be seen as Banger, Ed Incle who portrays the role of Javier, Richard Foster who plays the character of Police Foster, Debbie Campbell who plays the role of a waitress, Ryan Quinn who plays the role of a guard, Nicholas Tucci who will be seen as a Samaritan Op and Mark Doherty who plays the character of a First Samaritan Op.

Meanwhile, co-showrunners Greg Plageman and Jonah Nolan talked to TVLine about "Person of Interest" Season 5, episode 10.

Nolan revealed that he has been "dreaming about that action sequence for about five years." The action sequence features Root with a big gun.

He adds "waiting for the right moment to toss it in there. The sniper-through-the-sun roof, cruise control, steer-the-car-with-your-four-inch-heeled boot maneuver is something that Root was destined for for an awfully long time."
