"Tropico 5," the city building simulation game that first gained prominence in the PC platform, is reaching out to a new set of audience in the form of the PlayStation 4 console. The game was released on the PS4 for almost a year now but the game has only seen sales traction recently as consoles players are starting to get the feel of the game. The game also received favorable critical accolades from critics.
"Tropico 5" was developed by Haemimont Game and published by Kalypso Media. The game was released on several platforms including Windows, OS X, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4 and Linux.

However, there are certain set of rules within the game that can also present a possibility of running the city in a harmonious way, the game's storyline depth depends entirely on the player's choices.
The games design along with its artwork and gameplay was developed from scratch and uses an in-house engine developed specifically for the game, according to Metacritic.
"Tropico 5" is the first game in the franchise to be released on PlayStation and was received positive reviews from critics, according to IGN. The report added, "This is a strong franchise, and it's stunning that this is the first entry to grace a Sony console."
