It was just in May when the hit CW superhero series, "Arrow," completed its fourth season, and with "Arrow" Season 5 already scheduled to be released later this year, recent reports suggest that the series is going to go back to its origin, when the show was gaining positive reviews and a lot of viewers.
According to Cosmic Book, the previous season of the series is quite disappointing. With that said, the report cited the statement of the series' lead actor, Stephen Amell, who plays Oliver Queen or Green Arrow in the show, wherein he hinted that "Arrow" Season 5 is going to go back where it does well.
According to the same publication, a new character that was said to be influenced by Idris Elba's Stringer Bell in "The Wire" series is going to be the latest antagonist in "Arrow" Season 5. The villain was initially named as Anton Church, which was said to be a ferocious King Pin who is going to fill the spot where H.I.V.E and Damien Darhk left.
In addition, Amell revealed in an interview with Variety that "Arrow" Season 5's villain will not have any sort of superpowers. The actor also teased the fans about a possible crossover between the show and the other DC superhero series - "Legends of Tomorrow," "The Flash" and "Supergirl."
Amell said that he is interested with the crossover, and that this would be a good treat for the supporters of DC's superhero series. He clarified that even if he wants to do the crossover, he would need the management to balance everything so that the quality of his show will not be affected negatively.
As of the moment, the producers of the series have not revealed anything yet regarding the plot of "Arrow" Season 5. Despite of this, fans of the show are excited to see the Green Arrow going back to its origins in "Arrow" Season 5.
