While "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" is not the much-rumored "Kingdom Hearts III," it provides a new storyline that will excite avid fans of the franchise as they get ready for the next big game. "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" is circulating the internet, highlighting Aqua.
Beside the latest trailer revealing Aqua, one of the original Keyblade wielders; it has something on her fight against the Heartless, according to Techno Buffalo. The combat is highlighted in a completely new playable episode in "Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep - A fragmentary passage." It is incorporated in the HD collection and has the next-generation graphics.
The publication reveals that this new storyline will offer gamers a preview of the looming events of the much-awaited "Kingdom Hearts III." From the trailer, it is likely that "Kingdom Hearts 2.8 HD" will be available at the imminent Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2016 slated for June 14-16.
Based on the upcoming revelations this winter, fans may not see or get any information about "Kingdom Hearts III" until then. With regard to "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, the title will drop globally in December this year on PS4."

Meanwhile, there have been concerns from fans as to when "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will be released. However, reports have emerged that the game developer may push back the release date to 2018 to allow for the launch of "Kingdom Hearts III."
"Kingdom Hearts III" is a priority over "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" when it comes to the games set to be launched in 2017. This is rational since Square Enix announced "Kingdom Hearts III" first before announcing the remake.
