The latest details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will feature new game details soon and rumors of the sequel now appearing in E3 2016.
Square Enix launched the latest trailer for "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue" as the video contains the HD version several "Kingdom Hearts" game titles such as "Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance" and "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage-" and an HD cinematic title "Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover".
"Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance" will feature Sora and and Riku entering a test to see who is worthy to be a Keyblade master, while "Kingdom Hearts 0.2: Birth By Sleep -A Fragmentary Passage" features Aqua's journey after the events of "Birth By Sleep" as gamers can will assume control of her as she fight her way through the dark world. The game will also set up events that will link into "Kingdom Hearts 3".
Lastly, "Kingdom Hearts X Back Cover" tells a new tale of the Foretellers and reveal new parts of the series' history. Game director Tetsuya Nomura stated that the technology used in it is the same as "Kingdom Hearts 3" and it will be approximately one hour in length.
The trailer ends with the game's release date on December for the PlayStation 4 console and teased new details for "Kingdom Hearts 3" in the winter this year, Gamerant reported.
This leads to the question if Square Enix will showcase "Kingdom Hearts 3" at this year's Electronic Entertainment Expo event on June 14-16 now that the "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8" trailer displayed new game details in the winter, Attack of the Fanboy reported.
Several rumors and reports claim that a new trailer for "Kingdom Hearts 3" will appear at E3 2016 and it will introduce new Disney worlds.
Three Disney worlds are already been confirmed from movies like "Hercules", "Tangled" and "Big Hero 6", while there are rumors that "Frozen" and "Zootopia" and even worlds outside of the Disney franchise like Marvel and Star Wars.
There are also rumors that the release date for "Kingdom Hearst 3" will likely happen on April 2017 as Square Enix revealed their line-up of video game titles for the fiscal year and the list includes "Final Fantasy XV", "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided", "Rise for the Tomb Raider", "World of Final Fantasy" and "Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue".
The list does not include "Kingdom Hearts 3" along with "Final Fantasy 7" remake and NieR, but Square Enix stated that the list is partially complete and will likely add more titles.
For now, Square Enix has not made any comments regarding the possible "Kingdom Hearts 3" E3 2016 appearance and fans will likely wait a little longer for new details before the year ends.
"Kingdom Hearts 3" is speculated to be release on 2017 for the PS4 and Xbox One consoles.
