New details for "Suicide Squad" will feature the real villain in the movie, an appearance at SDCC 2016 and a rumored cameo of The Flash.
Several rumors are making rounds regarding who is the real main antagonist within the "Suicide Squad" movie as director David Ayer teased some clues to what are Task Force X is sent to do during the film. Ayer told Total Films that Amanda Waller (Viola Davis) called them in and stop a bunch of humanoid like monsters called the Eye of the Adversary, but strangely enough these creatures are wearing military uniform.
It is speculated that these monsters are being controlled by Cindy Moon/The Enchantress (Cara Delevingne) as evidence suggest that Enchantress was seen in several trailers that she infiltrated the White House and claiming that she will "save" the world. One theory is that Enchantress turned everyone in the White House into the Eye of the Adversary and Amanda Waller had no choice to but to assemble Task Force X and stop her, Cinemablend reported.
In other news, it seems that cast of "Suicide Squad" will making an appearance in this year's San Diego Comic Con event on July 21-24 as Warner Bros. teased a "major presence" including a recreation of Belle Reve Penitentiaryat the Hard Rock Hotel in the San Diego’s Gaslamp Quarter.
In addition, Harley's Tattoo Parlor will also be shown in SDCC event as well, which was first shown during the SXSW event. For now, Warner Bros. did not reveal any other major details for the movie and comic book fans are eager to find out more next month.
Lastly, rumors are making rounds that another Justice League member will be appearing in "Suicide Squad".
Comic Book fans already know that Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) will make his presence felt in the movie in a chase scene with Harley Quinn (Margot Robbie) and The Joker (Jared Leto). However, it is speculated that Barry Allen/The Flash (Ezra Miller) will be appear in "Suicide Squad" as part of Captain Boomerang's (Jai Courtney) backstory seeing is how he is an enemy of the Scarlet Speedster in the comics, The Geek Mafia reported.
The Flash first appeared in "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice" in a dream sequence warning Bruce Wayne about the incoming threat in the near future and must find others like him. Barry's second appearance is in Lex Luthor's (Jesse Eisenberg) Metahuman files as a CCTV footage of him stopping a robbery in a store using his super speed.
"Suicide Squad" will be release in cinemas on Aug. 5.
