An interesting photo where Waif was seen standing, captured the attention of fans as a silhouette of a male image appeared behind her, whom they recognized as Syrio Forel, the beloved "dancing" master of Arya. This stirred speculations that Syrio has been disguising as Waif all this time.
As the air date of "No One" approaches, HBO released several pictures for the upcoming episode. Some of these were revealed first time, while several were part of the episode trailer unveiled a few days ago. A close up view of Waif's photo shows that the shadow behind her is not from her, but rather belonged to a different person, Grumpy Fish reported.
Examining further reveals the said shadow belongs to Syrio Forel, the character who appeared in season 1, who taught Arya how to properly use a sword. Syrio actor Miltos Yerolemou appeared on a Sunday episode of "Thronecast," where he revealed the strong connection of his character with the House of Black and White and with the home of Faceless Men. Arya believed the First Sword of Braavos was killed by Ser Meryn Trant during an attack of the Lannister guards in King's Landing, Time reported.
With all of these hints coming, it may not be a surprise for fans if Syrio suddenly makes a re-appearance in the upcoming episode. This may be an emotional and confusing part for Arya the moment the revelation unfolds.
Meanwhile, part of the images released by HBO suggests a re-union between Brienne of Tarth and Jamie Lannister which may be awkward for the two characters as the former Renly Baratheon king's guard is on the side of the Tully's while Jamie is set to re-claim Riverrun from the Blackfish.
It also appears the next episode will not be rich in Daenerys scenes as it only featured her most trusted advisors, Tyrion Lannister and Missandei. A confrontation between Cersei Lannister and The Sparrows is also expected based on the released images.
The next episode of "Games of Thrones" season 6 will air on June 12, Sunday 9 PM EST on HBO. Watch a preview of its trailer below.
