Ubisoft has just announced recently on their E3 2016 conference their new video game called "Steep." The game publisher has scheduled its release at a later date.
This upcoming video game will be an open-world action sports type for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, according to Gamespot. French studio Ubisoft Annecy led the development of the game.
The extreme sports video game is scheduled for a December release, according to IGN. For those who want to try out the beta version of the game, they can visit its official website, which can be accessed right now.
The game has been in development for at least two and half years already. The game developers were inspired due to its location, which is close to the Alps. They have guaranteed that players will be able to enjoy snow sports in an open-world environment without any complications.
Some of the action sports games that players can try out in the video game are skiing, snowboarding, paragliding, and gliding in a wingsuit. They will not be limited to one method only and can change it anytime they like. They can also find different types of activities that they can join in with different challenges to try out.
The game publisher also announced that the game will have a great share feature and other social elements. Those who will be playing the game will have to play on the same mountain and can interact with one another during their gameplay. However, they have the option to disable the collision option so that they will not ruin the gameplay of the other players.
Players will be able to play on different locations like Italy, Austria, France, and Switzerland. There were no specific mountain ranges announced by the game publishers and there is still no inform if the game will be based on locations that are based on the real world.
Cameras can be in first and third person, said the game publisher in a statement. The players can choose to use a free cam or a Go Pro type of view when they play the game.
