"Person of Interest" Season 5, episode 13 finale - synopsis
"Finch, Reese, Fusco and Shaw embark on one last mission to prevent Samaritan from destroying The Machine and cementing its hold over mankind, on the series finale of PERSON OF INTEREST, Tuesday, June 21 (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network," reads the synopsis.
Earlier, creator/executive producer Jonathan Nolan and showrunner/executive producer Greg Plageman responded to questions from fans at the ATX TV Festival organized in Austin.
Nolan stated that the finale is expected to be an emotional one, reported Deadline. He also promised that the body count in "Person of Interest" series finale is the same.
Nolan stated that they "had a good idea that this was probably it." They would have loved to have more "Person of Interest" seasons, but this is it.
Plageman said, "You know, I think the premise of the show, the idea that there's an artificial super intelligence that can do these things, is one that's relevant. And I think, regardless of the characters, it's something I could see another incarnation of someday. But I think by the time the bloodbath of the finale is over, you might have different thoughts."
