Google Nexus 2016 release is reportedly in August and the previous Nexus 6 price went down as much as $180 in eBay as the launch date of the new Nexus smartphone nears.
Two-year-old Nexus 6 smartphone is receiving a price cut from eBay as the handset is available for ridiculously low price of $180. However, the handset is a refurbished one. The 2014 Nexus made by Motorola is considered as one of the best smartphones made by Google. The deal currently includes the blue version, as the white is sold out. Free shipping is available as well.
Rumor mill claimed that Google Nexus 2016 will pack 5-inch display whereas the high-end version would be packed with a 5.5-inch display. Under the hood, the device will be powered by Snapdragon 820 SoC and NVIDIA Tegra X1 processor paired with 4GB of RAM.
Google Nexus 2016 could be the first Nexus smartphone to pack a 2TB external storage via microSD slot, which is missing from the previous Nexus smartphones. The smartphone may also pack a 12MP back camera and 5MP front-facing camera. All of these hardware specs are supported by 3,000mAh battery.
The upcoming Google Nexus 2016 will boast the new Android N operating system with new software features. It is reported that the OS will pack Android Pay that is working in more countries for wireless payments.
Google has not confirmed the third party helping Google in making this year's smartphone or tablet. At first, all clues point to HTC, but latest rumors claimed that Huawei is taking the helm this year.
However, there is no concrete confirmation from Google regarding the Google Nexus 2016 release. Thus, consumers will have to wait and see.
