"Game of Thrones" Kit Harington admitted he has Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and has specific habits he must do before going on the stage of "Doctor Faustus."
Harington, known for his role as Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones," told Philip Schofield and Holly Willoughby of This Morning, a British morning program, that he has to eat Haribo sweets before he goes on stage, which he claims "helps with the drool."
The 29-year old actor also revealed that aside from eating Haribo, he has to kiss certain things.
"I have to kiss the stage floor three times, I've got a crucifix in my room which I have to kiss three times," said Harington (via Mirror). He went on to mention his parents' picture, his brother and his mother, but his current girlfriend, Rose Leslie, is not included in his ritual.
"My girlfriend [Rose Leslie] was very upset when she came in and there wasn't a picture of her!" revealed the "Game of Thrones" star.
The last of his OCD ritual is patting a seat near the stage and saying, "Good luck, Tom." When asked who he was pertaining to, the actor admitted he doesn't know and just came up with it one day.
Harington revealed that he develops new superstitions for each of his projects, but he did not reveal what his ritual is before going on camera for "Game of Thrones."
Harington is currently the star in the play "Doctor Faustus," which is showing in London. The play is directed by Jamie Lloyd and is based on Christopher Marlowe's "The Tragical History of the Life and Death of Doctor Faustus."
Meanwhile, another "Game of Thrones" star Liam Cunningham was all praises for Harington in the "Battle of the Bastards" episode, which he said is "going to be jaw-dropping" thanks to Harington's "beautifully subtle" work.
Cunningham, who plays Davos Seaworth in the series, also revealed to The Hollywood Reporter that filming for the episode took about a month and apparently, a lot of money as it is one of the most expensive television episode that have ever been made.
"Game of Thones" season 6 episode 9, "Battle of the Bastards," airs June 12 on HBO.
