On Feb. 12, Thursday, Kate Middleton decided to step out and visit Portsmouth. She visited the headquarters of Ben Ainslie Racing and 1851 Trust. The Duchess is renowned for being a style icon and this time she pulled it off yet again.
According to Us Weekly, the Duchess of Cambridge appeared in a stylish A-line Max Mara coat. She paired it with a skinny belt at the waist and flaunted her baby bump.
She took part in the 1851 Trust's event that focuses on a mural painting session with school children. 1851 Trust is a trust that motivates young people to get into sailing.
Kate Middleton loves sailing. According to Daily Mail, she sailed the world between high school and college. The new building of 1851 Trust is under construction and Middleton joined in to check the progress. Children were asked to draw and paint on the blue mural wall and the Duchess of Cambridge happily took part in painting the wall.
She talked to the local art teacher James Waterfield and told him that George is fond of painting.
"[Kate] told me she was painting yesterday with baby George and that she should have brought him down because he loves doing all of this," Waterfield said.
Meanwhile, the Duchess also revealed that sailing is special for her.
"I feel very fortunate to have enjoyed sailing from a young age and I know it is a great way of providing young people with the opportunity to develop skills and confidence," Middleton said (via Hollywood Life).
The Duchess of Cambridge was presented with high-visibility jackets. She was gifted three jackets named "The Future Boss," "The Boss" and "The Boss' Best Friend."
Kate Middleton is expecting her second child this April.
